Research

I am interested in improving the care of adults admitted to hospital, which firstly means identifying factors that can help us to recognise patients at the highest risk of death or disability. My findings of my research have been used to help develop services to improve the care of older trauma patients.

My active areas of research include:

  • Frailty and trauma
  • Middle meningeal artery embolization
  • Frailty and resuscitation
